Privacy Policy

Who we are

Automated AI Solutions, LLC operates Level Up Family (“Level Up,” “we,” or “us”). This policy covers the Level Up Family app, levelupfamily.app, and our support communications.

Level Up helps parents and children organize habits, quests, levels, rewards, and family progress. The initial beta is intended for invited, parent-managed families in the United States.

Information we collect

Please provide only what your family needs for its routines. Avoid including addresses, school identifiers, sensitive medical details, or other unnecessary private information in task descriptions, notes, or photos.

How we use information

We use information to provide and synchronize family features; authenticate adults and link authorized child devices; manage permissions; organize habits and quests; display and review progress; track family-chosen rewards; deliver enabled reminders and updates; respond to requests; investigate errors; protect the service; and meet applicable legal obligations.

Level Up does not include third-party advertising or advertising-tracking features. We do not sell personal information or use family activity to build advertising profiles.

Sharing within your family

Family information is available according to family membership and role. Authorized parents and guardians can manage child profiles and review their activity. A child view on a shared device is part of that device’s signed-in family experience. Keep family and child invitation codes private.

Optional uploaded profile photos are kept in private storage. The app checks family membership and role before creating a short-lived image link: authorized parents and guardians can view photos for children in their family, and a linked child account can view that child’s photo. A person who receives a valid signed link could view the photo until the link expires, so do not share those links. Choose a built-in avatar if you do not want to upload a photo.

Service providers and other disclosures

Services supporting Level Up include Supabase for authentication, database, and image storage; email delivery providers for sign-in messages and support; Expo and the device platform’s notification service for push delivery; and Apple for iOS distribution and TestFlight. Website hosting, network, and email services also process information needed to deliver their services.

Information shared with a provider depends on its role. Push services may process notification text as well as delivery identifiers. Your device settings determine whether notifications appear on a lock screen. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We may disclose information to comply with law or valid legal process, protect users and the service, or support an organizational transaction subject to applicable notice and privacy protections.

Apple’s handling of beta information is described in its TestFlight privacy information.

Children and parental choices

Level Up is designed for parent-managed families, including families with children under 13. A parent or legal guardian manages the child’s profile and authorizes participation on a shared or linked device. Children should use the app with their parent or guardian’s permission and appropriate supervision.

A child’s information can include profile details, activity, optional photos, and persistent account or device identifiers even when the child does not have an email address. Parents should share only the information reasonably needed for the features they choose to use.

A parent or legal guardian may contact us to review information associated with their child, request corrections or deletion, or withdraw permission for further collection or use. We may verify identity and parental authority before providing information or acting on a request. If permission is withdrawn, some account-based features may no longer be available for that child.

Questions or requests about a child’s information can be sent to [email protected]. Do not include access codes, PINs, or identity documents in an initial email.

Retention and deletion

Our retention policy is to keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, such as providing an active family account, synchronizing routines, maintaining requested progress history, responding to support requests, and protecting the service. Children’s information should not be kept indefinitely or for unrelated purposes.

You can delete an adult account or a linked child-device account from the app’s Account settings. A parent or guardian can also delete a child profile and its associated history from Children settings. If the last guardian deletes their account, the family workspace and its child information are deleted as well. The app shows the exact effect before requiring confirmation. You may also contact [email protected] for assistance.

Any information retained for a specific legal obligation, security need, or unresolved dispute remains subject to the protections described in this policy. Deleting the app, signing out, or unlinking a device without using the deletion control does not itself delete information held by the service. See Account & data for the available controls and their effects.

Your controls and security

You can choose a built-in avatar instead of a photo, manage available family and child-device settings, and control notification and photo permissions through your device. Authentication and preference information may be stored on your device to keep the app working between sessions.

The app uses authenticated sessions and backend access controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe an account or family invitation has been accessed without permission, contact support.

Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us to make a request.

Website cookies and storage

The informational website does not create app accounts, offer a signup form, collect payments, set application cookies, or use browser local storage. It has no advertising or behavioral analytics scripts. Fonts, images, and scripts are served with the website. Hosting and network providers may process technical connection and security information.
